COVID-19  - Non-emergency council housing repairs and maintenance have restarted
We ask that tenants awaiting non-emergency council housing repairs or maintenance please bear with us as we  have a backlog of repairs to attend to that have built up during lockdown period.

All staff, operatives and sub-contractors of our housing repairs contractors, Morgan Sindall are working to strict safety guidance, wearing masks and gloves and keeping to social distancing guidelines. Bookings for council housing repairs and maintenance now accepted see:

•   Heating and Boiler Repairs

All Morgan Sindall staff, operatives and sub-contractors carry appropriate identification identifying them as employees of Morgan Sindall working on behalf of Basildon Council, and they will be willing to hand over their ID for closer inspection. 

Do not be embarrassed or afraid to ask someone claiming to be a Morgan Sindall representative to wait outside or to call you back later.  If you are in any doubt at all you should phone Basildon Council on 01268 533333 to confirm that the caller is who they say they are.

COVID-19 - SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN CONTRACTORS ARE IN YOUR HOME
Should a Morgan Sindall  contractor need to enter your  property to carry out repairs or maintenance work we ask that you stick to the  government advice on social distancing ensuring that a 2 metre distance is maintained at all times for the safety of both yourself and the contractor.
