Infrastructure Funding Statement

In accordance with the Community Infrastructure Levy (Amendment) (England) (No.2) Regulations 2019, all councils in receipt of developer contributions are required to produce an annual Infrastructure Funding Statement (IFS).

The IFS provides information on the monetary and non-monetary contributions sought and received from developers for the provision of infrastructure to support development in Basildon Borough, and the subsequent use of those contributions. Reporting on developer contributions helps local communities and developers see how contributions have been spent and understand what future funds will be spent on, ensuring a transparent and accountable system.
