My right to be informed
Basildon Council must tell you how we are using your personal information. We do this by publishing Privacy Notices for the services that we deliver.

You will need to give us the below information at the time of asking for this service:
- your name, address and contact details
- proof of identification and address
- details of the personal information you want to know more about how it is being used
Please send your request in writing to our Data Protection Office: Email the Data Protection Office
Once we receive your request, we will:
- let you know we have received it within three working days
- review the request and gather the information you have asked for
- send you the information within one month
- inform you if we will take longer than one month to complete the request
