Noak Bridge Neighbourhood Area

In September 2018, Basildon Borough Council received a formal application from the Noak Bridge Parish Council to designate the parished area of Noak Bridge as a Neighbourhood Area.

In accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), the Council publicised the application for four weeks between Tuesday 2^nd October and Tuesday 30^th October 2018 and invited representations.

On 22 November 2018, Basildon Borough Council approved the designation of the Noak Bridge Neighbourhood Area. The decision notice, publication statement of the consultation, and the application are available to view below.

In September 2024, Noak Bridge Parish Council submitted the Noak Bridge Neighbourhood Plan to Basildon Borough Council.

Basildon Borough Council are required to publicise the Noak Bridge Neighbourhood Plan as set out in Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. The Noak Bridge Neighbourhood Plan will go to Cabinet on 5^th December 2024 to then recommend to full Council for public consultation in January 2025. The public consultation is likely to also commence in January 2025. Please note this date is to be confirmed.
