Planning - Committee Meetings

COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS
In light of recent events and following the latest Government advice on the Coronavirus the council is reviewing its scheduled council and committee meetings and will make announcements on these in the very near future. The council will review its arrangements, having regard to guidance as it emerges. 


Since 7th July 2004

Applications that are not delegated by Basildon Council for a decision by the Manager of Planning Services are considered by The Planning Committee (formerly the Development Control & Traffic Management Committee).

It is a Government statutory requirement that all agendas and reports must be posted on the Council's web site:

  • within 5 clear working days
  • plus the posting day
  • plus the committee day

Basildon Council aims to post minutes of Committee meetings which set out planning decisions, on the its website within 5 working days of the Committee decision.
