The Assistive and clinical collection service

Assisted Collections

If you are unable to get waste and recycling to your collection point due to mobility issues or an impairment, you may be eligible for an assisted collection.

This service can be agreed on a temporary or permanent basis. If your requirement is only temporary, we recommend that you apply for the assistance at-least 2 weeks prior to the event that will lead to the need for this additional help.

The assistive service is available for all waste collection services, to include the Bulky Waste Bookable service and Garden Waste Subscription Service.

Clinical Collections

Clinical waste produced as a result of self-administered home treatment for medical conditions must be disposed of appropriately.

If treatment is administered in the home by a medical professional e.g. a nurse, it is their responsibility to dispose of all clinical waste and you will therefore not be entitled to clinical waste collections.
