Make sure your non-recyclable waste is inside the communal bins by 7.30am on the day of collection. Only waste fully contained in the communal bins will be collected.

Communal Non-recyclable waste is collected weekly.


What goes in your communal non-recycling bin?

All items that cannot be recycled in your reusable sacks, food caddy, orange box or green bin 

Recyclable items, including paper and cardglass bottles and jarsplastic and cans, food waste or garden waste.

Offensive/Hygiene wastes including incontinence pads, catheter/stomach bags, nappies, and sanitary waste etc. 

Please double wrap these items prior to disposal. 

Clinical Waste including infectious medical items and sharps.

 

 

Commercial waste including any rubbish produced by a business or charity. 

 Liquid Waste including Oil and Paint. (opens new window).
 

Large Bulky household items including fridges, freezers, beds, televisions, and cabinets etc. .

 

Hazardous Materials including granular or powder pesticides and liquid pesticides or asbestos
