- Helping Hands Food bank - For those known to be receiving housing benefits, jobseekers allowance, income support etc. Incluidng those who are not able to afford their weekly shop and/or may be on a waiting list for earlier listed criteria. Lee Chapel North Community Centre, Basildon, SS15 5HL. Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12pm and 3pm.
- Community Supermarket Basildon (opens new window) - Open Tuesdays at Vange Trinity Methodist Church from 10am to 12pm, and Friday at Laindon Community Centre from 1pm to 3pm.
- Lighthouse Furniture Project (opens new window)- Upcycling furniture and household items to make them available for those who can't afford them.
- Essex ActivAte (opens new window) - Free face to face clubs during the school holidays for children and young people who are eligible for benefits based free school meals, as well as those from low income working families who would benefit from this extra support.
- Feeding the Family (opens new window) - Hot home-cooked meals delivered by volunteers with an invitation to a cooking course, teaching cooking basics to build confidence followed by volunteering opportunities.

- Craig Tyler Trust - Craig Tyler Trust Vault - Mother and Childrens group supporting children and guardians in need, clothing and homeware donations available and weclome, care packages, food parcels. Chalvedon Community Centre and Social Club, 1 Chalvedon Square, Basildon, SS13 3QX - Fridays between 9am and 2pm.
- Local School Uniform Banks - Connecting families with free preloved school uniform, footwear, and coats open to anyone that needs it:
- Laindon School Uniform Bank (opens new window) is open Fortnightly on a Saturday, 10am-12pm at Manor Mission Church, Manor Road, Laindon, SS15 6PA.
-Pitsea School Uniform Bank (opens new window) is open Mondays (unless otherwise stated) 10am-12.30pm at Chalvedon Community Centre and Social Club,1 Chalvedon Square, SS13 3QX (opposite chalvedon shops).
