Report Housing Benefit Fraud
See details below to confidentially report someone making false applications for Housing Benefit.
Basildon Council's role is to try and stop fraud from happening and to catch people who make false claims. To do this, we need your help - fraud is not a victimless crime and innocent taxpayers are bearing the cost. If you're reporting suspected fraud, you can chose to remain completely anonymous but any details given will be strictly confidential. Please provide as much detail as possible - the more information we have, the stronger our investigation will be.
If you think someone is committing Housing Benefit fraud you can report it to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
