Borough Town, Parish and Village Councils
Local (Town, Parish and Village) Councils are statutory bodies created in law and which have to abide by the law and work within it.
Although Local Councils have few actual duties their potential power is great and they can respond effectively to their communities' needs.
There are currently nine Town, Parish or Village Councils within the Borough
