Report an Untaxed Vehicle

Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) (opens new window) contractors visit the District daily and will remove any untaxed vehicles from the Highway without notice and put them into storage. The Highway includes most lay-bys, verges and garage areas.

To claim a vehicle from storage the owner will need to pay a fee and a surety if it cannot be proven that the vehicle is taxed. DVLA will prosecute the owner for tax evasion.
