The Place is just a 5-10 minute walk from Pitsea Railway Station and just a couple of minutes from the main bus routes and a taxi rank. It is just a few minutes drive from both the A13 and A127 trunk roads.

Daytime and evenings

  • Aldi/The Range car park - two minutes' walk from The Place - access via Rectory Park Drive. Up to 3 hours free parking is available in the large nearby Aldi / The Range car park which includes disabled parking bays. We would like to remind customers there is 24 hour parking enforcement in operation at this car park. If you exceed your 4 hour free parking entitlement you will be liable to receive a Penalty Charge Notice between 6am-9pm or 1 ½ hours maximum stay outside of these times.
  • If you hire our facilities for longer than 3 hours for a meeting, function or event, we do have a special arrangement in place to ensure exemption from the 3 hour limit. When making your booking, please speak to a member of staff for more information.
  • Further parking is available in The Place staff car park - rear of The Place - access via Maydells. This car park is only to be used by visitors to The Place. Disabled parking bays are limited.
