  • New burial plot in the  Lawn Section  for 2 or 3 interments
  • Cremated Remains half space in which you can have up to 6 Cremated remains (not available at Pitsea New Cemetery)

Burials can take place on any weekday, except on bank holidays. Please talk to your funeral director or contact our Cemeteries Officer to discuss any specific requirements. See contact details below.

Most often when a death occurs the funeral director will help make the necessary arrangements to buy a burial plot. Some people however prefer to make their own arrangements to buy a burial plot at the time of planning the funeral. This can be organised by completing and submitting an online request to purchase a burial plot or by contacting our Cemeteries Officer who will be happy to advise. See contact details below.

Our burial plots are sold with an exclusive right of burial for 100 years, such plots are known as purchased graves. We advise that all purchased graves have an appointed owner. A family member can take over the ownership should the appointed owner become deceased. To arrange a change in ownership please contact our Cemeteries Officer who will happy help. See contact details below.

An ashes interment

An ashes interment can be arranged with us independently of an undertaker. For details please contact our Cemeteries Officer who will be happy to advise. See contact details below.
