For further information see:
Mobile food business regulations
If you are planning to start a mobile food business which will be based anywhere in Basildon Borough, or trading anywhere within Basildon Borough, then you must follow all the regulations that apply to mobile food businesses. Provide details of where the business will be trading and where it will be stored. For details see:
Food hygiene training
You also need to ensure that suitable food hygiene and safety training has been completed for you, your managers, supervisors and other staff. Food handlers must be trained to enable them to carry out tasks safely, for people handling open, high risk food, training equivalent to the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health's Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 course is expected. It is recommended that managers be trained to Level 3.
