Full Plans Submission - Building Control

While applying for a Full Plans Submission, full plans need to be drawn up and include all construction details.

What is a Full Plans Submission Application?

Full Plans Submission's show detail of all planned building work. You are assured that all of your planned work meets Building Regulations requirements, which is the main benefit of this application. Please note, applications should be made well in advance of the date you intend to start work on site.

What happens after I submit a Full Plans Submission Application?

After Building Control receive your application, the team will check your plans meet Building Regulations requirements. Following the review, you will be notified whether your application is approved, requires amendments or rejected.

You will receive an Approval Notice if your plans meet requirements, which is proof of your plans complying with Building Regulations. If you are moving home or seeking a loan, banks, surveyors and / or solicitors will look at the approval notice.

Plans will need further detail or amending if your plans do not meet Building Regulations requirements. Alternatively, conditional approvals are issued upon request.

If your Full Plans Submission application is rejected, our team will state the reason(s) why on the Rejection Notice.
