Changes to bin collections over this Easter Bank Holiday
Basildon residents are being reminded that there will be some changes to their bin collection days over the Easter Bank Holiday.
Collections due on Good Friday will be collected this Saturday, and Easter Monday means that all collections will run a day later than usual next week.
Residents are being reminded that to make sure they do not miss their collection, they should please put their bins out by 7am and check their collection calendar at www.basildon.gov.uk/WhereILive
Cllr Aidan McGurran, Cabinet Member for Environment and Leisure, commented: "We know the Easter Bank Holiday will be a busy time with family and friends and some people may be away from home, so we wanted residents to be aware of the changes and make things easier.
"You can also download the 'Our Streets Basildon' App which is a great way to get information about rubbish collection and recycling. It can also show you your next bin collections for up to two weeks in advance.
For updates and collection reminders, download the 'Our Streets Basildon' app — available on Google Play for Android and the Apple App Store for iPhone users.
