From 4pm to 6pm, the main stage in St Martins Square will host Britain's Got Talent contestants 'The BIG Sing Choir', and at 6pm the event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over Westgate Shopping Centre.
Bring your family and friends along for an unforgettable day filled with festive cheer, music, and fun activities.
The event will take place on Saturday 16 November 2024 from 10am to 6pm in Basildon Town Centre - don't miss out!
Councillor Jessica Power, Cabinet Member for Jobs, Skills and Local Economy said: "This year marks the return of the popular Basildon at Christmas event, and it's back with a bang!
"We know how important the event is for local people, and we're delighted to bring it back with all of your festive favourites - from the famous Bavarian Market, to the classic Santa's Grottos. There will be something for everyone.
"It's a chance to come together as a community. Let's support our small businesses and town centre retailers. Let's believe in Basildon and get stuck in as we mark the start of the festive season. I look forward to seeing you all there!"
The event is being held in partnership with Basildon Council, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon Town Centre Management, and Gateway Radio to bring you a day full of festive fun.
Many of the activities will be available for Saturday's event only. The Grotto in Eastgate and the Bavarian Market in the town centre (which includes the various food and drink stands as well as the free crazy golf), will be on offer up until Christmas Eve.
