Changes to Winter Fuel Payments will mean that only the most vulnerable who claim Pension Credit will now be eligible, rather than all above pension age. In Basildon it is estimated that 1,000 residents are not claiming Pension Credit that they are entitled to.

Pension Credit has the lowest take-up rate across the country and the council's Outreach and Engagement team will help you claim what you are entitled to.
