Crunch Month
From Saturday 13 July, a mobile waste collection service will be coming each Saturday to a location near you in each of the borough's five towns for a period of five weeks.
Every Saturday we will visit a new location in each town - 25 locations in total.
You will be able to dispose of any excess general waste in black sacks, as well as bulky waste items which normally require collection.
If you are registered for an assisted collection for your waste and recycling, or have significant health and mobility issues, please email to arrange a collection of bulky waste.
This service offer is to provide assistance to some of the borough's most vulnerable residents. If demand is high, it may take a few weeks to complete the collection.
We will not accept the following items:
Alongside the mobile waste collection service, the council's Pride Team will visit targeted hotspots around the borough to clear any dumped rubbish, litter pick, complete a mechanical road sweep and tidy up footpaths.
