Can I submit an application if I am not yet the legal owner?

You can submit an application without being the owner.

• Certificate A - signed if you have owned the property for at least 21 days before the application.
• Certificate B - signed if you have not owned the property for at least 21 days before the application but you know who the current owner. Notice must served on the current owner.
• Certificates C and D - signed if ownership is not known. 

If the proposed work related to protected trees

• answer question 2  as 'no' and put the owner's details if known.
