Vue family fun day
On Thursday 25 July 2024, Vue Basildon officially opened its doors. To celebrate the opening, Vue is hosting a Family Fun Day on Friday 2 August
The cinema's largest screen will hold more than 300 cinemagoers, with nine other screens showing the latest films, plus VIP and Recliner seating.
The East Square development is also home to Kaspa's Desserts, Nando's and Orleto Lounge, offering a variety of choice for visitors.

- Exclusive Preview of Bluey: 10am - Watch a compilation of your favourite episodes from seasons one and two. You might even get a chance to meet Bluey in person!
- Mighty Mornings Screening: Enjoy the family blockbuster "IF" at 12.30pm
- Spiderman: Back on the big screen at 1pm

- McLaren Simulator Challenge: Test your racing skills on the big screen, brought to you by Coca Cola. Compete against a pro McLaren E-sport champion's lap time.
- Face painting, balloon modelling, a circus skills workshop and a community window colouring in event throughout the day
