Basildon Council is keen to understand the views of local residents into proposals for a possible new community sport and leisure centre in Billericay. This facility is proposed to replace the existing Billericay Pool (Lake Meadows Park, Billericay CM12 0BW).
Basildon Council commissioned a feasibility and options analysis study in 2018 to understand the opportunities available for the development of Billericay Pool. A professional team was employed to undertake this work. This included a specialist sports consultancy, architect and project manager. Following initial needs analysis and feasibility work, the Council has recommended two options for further consideration.
|OPTION A: NEW LEISURE CENTRE WITHIN LAKE MEADOWS.||OPTION B: REPLACEMENT OF THE CURRENT CENTRE|
This would provide additional facilities to those at the current Billericay Pool.
