Notice is hereby given that a vacancy has arisen in the office of Town Councillor for Wickford Town Council by reason of the resignation of Councillor L Mansfield. 

An election to fill this vacancy will be held within sixty days of the date of this notice, provided a request in writing by ten electors of the said Town is received by the Monitoring Officer by Monday, 23 January 2023 at the following address:

Basildon
Essex
SS14 1DL 
 
If no such request is made, the Town Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
