CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) - Basildon Council service and information updates
Basildon Council is making decisions day by day in order to balance the need to maintain essential services and the need to support those who need our help the most, while at the same time following public health guidance for the protection of the public and staff against infection from coronavirus (COVID-19).
Basildon Council is stepping up its fight against the spread of coronavirus and protecting staff and the public by closing the reception at the Basildon Centre, the Crunch service and Barleylands Recycling Centre.
Basildon Council has announced further amendments to services and activities as it continues to prioritise its work to support those most vulnerable in the community and most at risk from the impact of coronavirus.
The Council is committed to public participation in the planning process. In light of recent events and following the latest Government advice on the Coronavirus, a decision has been made to cancel tonight's meeting of the planning committee.
