Polling day for the Basildon Borough Council election is Thursday, 2 May 2024, between the hours of 7.00am and 10.00pm.

Elections for 42 Borough Councillors will take place in all 14 of the Borough's Wards. 

The Returning Officer for the elections is Scott Logan, Chief Executive of Basildon Borough Council.
