Fees and Charges
Basildon Council charges for a number of services that it provides.
Many of the services that Basildon Council provides are funded through Council Tax and Business Rates. Some services, however, are not covered by this and therefore a fee or charge is payable by the individual or organisation that accesses the service.
Fees and charges are reviewed on an annual basis and the schedules below show the most recently agreed charges for the latest two financial years.
In addition, the Council publishes a Charging Directory setting out the basis and justification for each charge, as well as any benchmarking that has been undertaken to compare the charges to other service providers. This is now combined within the one document for information.
