Apprenticeship Scheme at Basildon Council
Basildon Council is committed to creating opportunities for all and to supporting young people in gaining experience and employment.
For those who have little or no work experience an apprenticeship is a good way of developing the necessary skills to enter the workforce.
Basildon Council operates an apprenticeship scheme in which apprentices take part in a comprehensive training programme leading to an apprentice qualification. Training includes: adapting to the work environment, understanding responsibilities, health and safety, managing performance and developing an awareness of good customer service and what it involves.
